Techno-Functional QA Engineer (Healthcare Domain)

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Quality Assurance professional with a strong background in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, in-depth knowledge of EHR data models, and proven expertise in writing SQL queries for comprehensive backend testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute test plans, scenarios, and test scripts aligned with business requirements and quality standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough coverage of functional and technical specifications.

Utilize strong EHR domain knowledge (e.g., Athena or similar systems) to validate workflows, data integrity, and overall system functionality.

Write complex SQL queries to create and manage test data, verify backend processes, and retrieve relevant information from database tables.

Conduct end-to-end testing of EHR solutions, ensuring accurate data flow and integrity across various modules and services.

Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Provide clear, concise communication (verbal and written) to stakeholders, conveying testing progress, risks, and results effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Healthcare QA Experience: Demonstrated experience in quality assurance and software testing within the healthcare domain.

EHR Expertise: Working knowledge of Electronic Health Record systems (e.g., Athena or other EHR platforms) and related data models.

SQL Proficiency: Strong ability to write, modify, and optimize SQL queries for data validation and test data setup.

Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, paired with strong comprehension and documentation skills.
