Job Description

Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Software Engineer II to join our Technical Computing Facility team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our technical computing software applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications within the Technical Computing Facility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
Review code and provide feedback to team members to ensure best practices in software development.
Troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issues and bugs.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept through delivery.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
Proficiency in languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
Experience with technical computing concepts and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile/Scrum.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
