Data Analyst Manager - Power BI

Job description

Lead a team of 5-8 data Analysts / Engineers within multiple Functions/departments. Understand the business requirement and ensure delivery as per expected standards.

Key responsibilities include: -

• Develop a strong rapport with the client, understand their needs and create solutions that meets their requirement
• Manage operational workflow and ensure seamless delivery for both quick turnaround analysis and long-term projects
• Mentor the team and guide them on difficult situations
• Hold regular meetings with the client at agreed-upon intervals and ensure that the team is aligned with the client needs at all time
• To build a team of capable analysts who have prior experience in SQL, BI & Visualization
• Take a consultative approach with the clients and support the solutioning team when needed
• Up-skill self with the latest advances in the BI domain

Skills required:

• More than 6+ years of overall Business experience and 5+ years in Data warehousing, Power BI reporting and Visualization tools
• Hands-on experience in SQL, Reporting, Tableau & Power BI
• Experience in Banking, Finance, Product Management would be added advantage
• Experience in an agile Scrum environment

Essential skills

• Hands-on experience in data handling tools like SQL, Tableau & Power BI
• Knowledge on Financial Reporting, Project Management & Client Interactions
• Must have handled teams and been in a Managerial role for at least 3 years
• Excellent communication skills
• Adherence to timeliness
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Detail oriented

Experience: 5 to 10 years of Overall Experience. BI Experience, Data Visualization, Data Modelling and Tool delivery knowledge preferred

Educational qualifications

Any Graduate/Post-Graduate
