Technical Skills (Must to have):

• Proficient in one of the programming languages (Java, Python)
• Solid working knowledge in one of the Automation Frameworks: Selenium with java, Robot with Selenium web driver, Code Cept, Cypress, Appium, Postman & Rest Assured.
• Strong expertise in Web and Mobile app automation(android/IOS). Solid expertise in making automation frameworks from scratch with focus on reusability.
• Exposure to Automation on cloud devices, farms like browser stack, sauce labs, pCloudy etc.
• Exposure to Parallel testing using different technologies to speed up test automation execution.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Jira and X-Ray.
• Work experience in CICD pipeline integration and environmental set up.
• Identification & evaluation of Automation tools/frameworks.
• Exposure to Industry trends in Automation, exposure to AI/ML tools.
• Good to have knowledge in Protocol and Packet Analysers (TCPDUMP, Ethereal)
• Solid expertise in Linux and SQL DB (Oracle / MySql)
• Good to have exposure to Load runner, jMeter, curl loader and other performance tools.
• Good to have knowledge in Debugging skills with the necessary tools like Fiddler, Val grind and Helgrind
• Knowledge in Software testing Life cycles and Software Development Life Cycle

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Developing Automation strategy and Automation frameworks.
• Propagate best practices of Automation to different product lines.
• Work in Centre of Excellence team and drive COE charter
• Resolve team queries, concerns, challenges in test automation.
• Understanding the requirements, Identifying, and selecting the automation test cases
• Preparation of Automation set up & work environment.
• Developing automation suites for the identified test cases.
• Collaborating with Testing team & Software Developers to develop solutions.
• Development of Mobile automation suites for iOS & Android devices.
• Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases
• Collating and monitoring the defect management process
• Managing the automation changes and executing regression tests
• Finding solutions for automation problems.
• Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.
• Developing the Automation skills for the team & enabling the team to develop the automation suites.
• Interacting with customers/clients to solve the various issues they face and updating on the situation.
