Senior Procurement Specialist

Job description

Procurement Specialist will involve sourcing potential suppliers by determining the material (electronic and mechanical) requirements for the projects and supply; in addition to purchase negotiations for better price and terms, supplier evaluation and supplier performance review prior and post to the procurement respectively based on price/cost, lead-time, logistics, and quality.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement
• Forecast levels of demand for products
• Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities
• Strong supplier evaluation
• Strong negotiation skill for getting the best price and value for money
• Monitoring the quality of products provided
• Knowledge of electronic components
• Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams
• Ability to multitask and prioritize, handle requests, and provide feedback in timely manner
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions as well as to think strategically
• Strong proficiency in English (Spoken & Written)
• Knowledge in Hindi will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office
