Senior Manager - Purchase

Role & responsibilities Manage the Source to Contract lifecycle for all IT Products

Manage relationships with identified key suppliers , be the SPOC for all discussions with the vendor.

Ensure that IT procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and pricing to make informed procurement decisions.

Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to understand their technology needs and align procurement strategies with organizational goals.

Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions

Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements

Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns

Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings

Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies

Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role

Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies

The person shall be responsible to cultivate new accounts and hand them over to business support teams after signing of the contract. As a part of Business

Development team, the person shall create a portfolio of large users of IT Products.

Proactively identify new and different business opportunities for up & cross-selling.

The person shall be responsible for a complete cycle of sourcing and signing of a new contract with the prospective customer, that is, and collection of e-waste from

the supplier or the source as per the terms of the agreement, receipt, and processing of the invoice and payment.

Coordinate with department, logistics, accounts, and production departments to ensure client/ seller satisfaction.

Support the Manager and senior management team in the review of operations by facilitating the provision of necessary data and information.

Maintain Data and prepare presentations on Client performance in terms of business.
