Logistics Manager

The candidate will play a critical role in supporting the smooth and efficient movement of chemicals and related products in tankers and truckloads from different parts of the country. He will work closely with the logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams of the companies to ensure accurate order fulfilment, timely delivery, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Processing & Coordination:
• Process customer orders in the system and verify order accuracy, including product specifications, quantities, and shipping instructions.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to prepare products for shipment, ensuring that proper packaging and labelling are adhered to.
• Shipping and Delivery Management:
• Coordinate transportation logistics and manage delivery schedules.
• Work with carriers to resolve any shipping delays or issues that may arise during transit.
• Customer Service Support:
• Provide updates and tracking information to customers regarding the status of their orders and deliveries.
• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Collaborate with companies to provide accurate delivery timelines and solutions for customer-specific logistics challenges.
• Problem Resolution:
• Investigate and resolve any shipping errors, transit insurance, damages, or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work with internal teams to implement corrective actions to prevent future logistics issues.
• Reporting & Data Entry:
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and logistics activities.
• Generate regular reports for management

Qualifications:

• Education: Any Graduate, B.Sc (Chemistry) preferred
• Experience: At least 10 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, preferably within the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
