Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.

- Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools and technologies based on project requirements.

- Implement best practices for test automation, including code reviews, version control, and continuous integration.

- Develop comprehensive automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.

- Maintain and update test scripts to reflect changes in software requirements.

- Create and maintain test data for automated testing.

- Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing.

- Configure and maintain CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps) to automate test execution.

- Work closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of automation into the development lifecycle.

- Develop and execute automated performance and load tests to ensure application scalability and stability.

- Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.

- Utilize performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) to simulate real-world user scenarios.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Communicate effectively with team members regarding test results, defect status, and automation progress.

- Mentor and guide junior QA automation engineers.

- Participate in code reviews.

Qualifications :

Experience :

- Experience in QA automation engineering.

- Proven experience in designing and developing automation frameworks.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.

- Experience with API testing.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.

- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.

- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
