Job Description:
- Play a key role to develop an IT solution independently using mainframe skillset (PL/1, DB2, IDMS)
- Perform build & deploy of solutions with necessary quality assurance practices (Code review, Unit Testing)
- Understand the business requirements and active involvement in refining them to meet the intended usage
- Proactive in collaborating with-in & team(s) across the organization to deliver the projects & operations.
Requirements
- Extensive expertise in mainframe technologies such as PL/I, JCL and CICS.
- Advanced understanding of database systems, particularly IDMS & DB2, and related tools.
- Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, and Jira.
- Expertise in developing pipelines for CI/CD processes.
- Experience in working with different IDE\u2019s, particularly IDZ.
- Skilled in conducting Impact Analysis and Work Package Estimation for complex PL/I applications.
- Should be well-versed in SOAP and REST concepts and have experience in developing RESTful services.
- In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles.
- Working knowledge of Traditional & Agile/Scrum methodologies
