Hoichoi TV - Android Developer - Kotlin (4-6 yrs)

About the role :

Technology enthusiasts with relevant experience and with object-oriented programming skills who can deliver product engineering capabilities for applications serving customers globally.

Responsibilities :

- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.

- Design and build advanced applications for the Android.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Work with outside data sources and APIs.

- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.

- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.

Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 4 years of Android development experience using Kotlin.

- Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least three original Android apps.

- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.

- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

- Working knowledge of the general mobile portrait, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

- Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

- Working experience using Web Services and API's built on SOAP or REST and using XML or JSON.

- Exposure to Jetpack Compose is highly desirable.

- Working knowledge on securing data channels using various mechanisms (basic authentication, OAuth 2.0, etc.).

- Experience with cloud technologies like AWS and GCP APIs will be an added advantage.
