YOUR OPPORTUNITY :
As a SharePoint Administrator, you will help maintain and improve the firm's intranet, team sites, and document libraries. You'll collaborate with cross-functional IT groups, as well as end-users, to support communication, workflow automation, and data governance within our SharePoint environment.
YOUR ROLE :
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- SharePoint Administration & Configuration : Manage site collections, sub-sites, lists, and libraries, ensuring proper structure and organization. Configure and maintain user permissions, security settings, and role assignments in line with compliance requirements.
- SharePoint Site Creation and Curation : Help users create SharePoint sites, and ensure they are structured properly. Provide users guidance on setting appropriate user permissions, security settings, etc. so that their sites work as planned.
- Platform Monitoring & Maintenance : Monitor SharePoint performance, usage trends, and storage requirements, making recommendations for optimization. Perform regular backups and coordinate restoration activities when necessary, collaborating with global IT teams.
- Troubleshooting & Support : Investigate and resolve SharePoint-related technical issues, coordinating with other IT teams (i.e., infrastructure, security) as needed. Provide Level 2/3 support to end-users, responding to incident tickets and service requests.
- Collaboration & Process Improvement : Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement workflow automation using SharePoint tools (i.e., Power Automate). Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the user experience through SharePoint functionalities.
- Documentation & Governance : Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, operational procedures, and best practices. Support ongoing governance and compliance initiatives to ensure data protection, regulatory alignment, and consistent user experiences.
- Innovation & Ongoing Learning : Stay current on SharePoint updates, features, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement. Proactively propose new ideas or enhancements for greater efficiency and collaboration.
YOUR EXPERIENCE :
The successful candidate will have :
Education & Certifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Microsoft certifications (i.e. MCSA, Microsoft 365 Certified : Teamwork Administrator Associate) are a plus.
Professional Experience :
- 4-8 years of experience administering SharePoint in a business environment, including site creation, permissions management, and basic customization.
- Exposure to Office 365 services (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive) is a plus.
Technical Skills & Knowledge :
- Familiarity with SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2019, or a similar platform.
- Basic understanding of PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration.
- Experience with Power Automate (Flow) and Power Apps is advantageous.
Soft Skills & Attributes :
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively across departments and time zones.
- Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently.
- A continuous improvement mindset, eager to learn and adapt to new technologies.
