QA Engineer

Paisabazaar.com is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, a keen eye for identifying defects, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, report, and resolve defects.
• Maintain and enhance automated testing frameworks, with a focus on Selenium using Java and TestNG.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
• Execute API testing, database testing, performance testing, and security testing.
• Automate mobile testing using Appium.
• Create automation testing scripts using JavaScript-based frameworks (e.g., NightWatch.JS, Chai, Mocha, Protractor).
• Utilize JMeter/Blazemeter for Load/Performance & Scalability Testing.
• Demonstrate excellence in database testing across various platforms (MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Firebase).
• Conduct API automation and possess knowledge of HTTP Response codes.
• Use Postman for manual API testing.
• Work with GIT, Maven, Jenkins for version control, build, and continuous integration.
• Exhibit familiarity with Linux commands.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Expertise in Selenium with Java and TestNG for automation.
• Knowledge of JavaScript-based automation frameworks (NightWatch.JS, Chai, Mocha, Protractor) is a plus.
• Familiarity with JMeter/Blazemeter for Load/Performance & Scalability Testing.
• Strong database testing skills (MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Firebase).
• Proficiency in API testing, HTTP Response codes, and Postman.
• Experience with GIT, Maven, Jenkins.
• Good problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
