Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Manager/Senior Manager to lead our data and analytics service delivery and solution development team, with a specific focus on document processing solutions including OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and associated data preparation workflows. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership abilities to drive innovative solutions for our clients and mentor team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead complex data and analytics projects from conception through delivery, ensuring alignment with client objectives and maintaining high standards of quality

- Develop and implement strategic solutions for clients' data challenges, incorporating best practices in database design, data modeling, and analytics

- Oversee OCR implementation projects, including pre-processing optimization, post-processing validation, and quality assurance workflows

- Establish, and maintain comprehensive documentation standards for all processes, including technical specifications, workflow procedures, and system architectures

- Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, analysts, and solution architects, fostering professional growth and maintaining high performance standards

- Lead initiatives to improve OCR accuracy through machine learning techniques and custom model development

- Collaborate with leadership and business development teams to scope new opportunities, develop proposals, and present solutions to prospective clients

- Drive innovation in our service offerings by staying current with industry trends and identifying opportunities to incorporate new technologies and methodologies

- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams

Must Have Experience in :

- 8+ years of experience in data analytics with strong focus on BFSI vertical, with at least 4 years in a leadership role

- 5+ years of experience in creating and delivering analytical solutions and services for clients in BFSI vertical

- Deep, practice based, understanding of key analytics, data science and database design methodologies

- Team development experience: hiring, training, and retaining high quality talent

- Ability to bridge between the gap between business and data teams

- Hands on experience with key analytical tools

Required Skills:

- Strong team management and mentoring abilities

- Excellence in client relationship management

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong understanding of technical tools like Python and SQL

- Understanding of database design principles, including data modeling, normalization, and optimization

- Experience and working knowledge of OCR technologies and document processing platforms (e.g., ABBYY, Tesseract, or similar)

- Understanding of image processing techniques and document preprocessing requirements

- Understanding of big data technologies and cloud platforms
