Job Description :
We are seeking an AWS Neptune Developer to design and implement graph database solutions on AWS Neptune. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Gremlin and SPARQL queries, and be proficient in migrating data from on-premises systems (like Neo4j) to AWS Neptune. You will work closely with cloud architects and integrate cloud-native tools such as AWS Lambda, S3, and SQS for efficient workflows.
Key Responsibilities :
- Graph Database Solutions : Design and implement graph database solutions on AWS Neptune to meet the application needs.
- Query Development : Develop and optimize Gremlin and SPARQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Data Migration : Migrate data from on-premises systems (e.g., Neo4j) to AWS Neptune using AWS DMS and other tools.
- Cloud Architecture Collaboration : Collaborate with cloud architects to design scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions leveraging AWS services.
- Data Transformation : Develop utilities for transforming data between property graph and RDF data formats.
- Security and Access Management : Implement security controls for access management, user roles, and encryption on AWS Neptune.
- Performance Monitoring : Monitor and troubleshoot AWS Neptune clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Application Enhancement : Enhance existing applications to fully utilize the graph capabilities of AWS Neptune.
- Cloud-Native Integrations : Work with cloud-native tools such as AWS Lambda, S3, and SQS for integration and automation.
- Documentation : Prepare and maintain documentation for architecture, development, and operational processes related to AWS Neptune.
Technical Qualifications :
- Graph Database Expertise : Strong understanding of AWS Neptune architecture and graph database principles.
- Query Languages : Proficiency in Gremlin and SPARQL query languages.
- Data Migration : Hands-on experience with data migration tools and services such as AWS DMS.
- AWS Services Knowledge : Familiarity with key AWS services including Lambda, EC2, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Containerization : Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Performance Optimization : Knowledge of database optimization, indexing, and performance monitoring.
- API & Frameworks : Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven frameworks.
- Security : Experience in implementing security controls such as access management, encryption, and securing user roles within AWS Neptune.
Soft Skills :
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and meet deadlines.
