Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced - GCP L3 Cloud Support Engineer- to join our - Cloud Operations- team in - Noida- . In this role, you will handle - complex technical issues- related to - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services- , ensure the - health, security, and performance- of large-scale cloud environments, and lead - incident management efforts- . As a - senior engineer- , you will also mentor junior team members and drive - continuous improvements- in cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Support & Incident Management :

- Provide - expert-level support- for complex - GCP services- , including - Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, and Cloud Spanner- .

- Lead - major incident management efforts- , ensuring quick resolution, impact mitigation, and detailed root cause analysis.

- Troubleshoot and resolve - advanced cloud infrastructure and networking issues- .

Architecture & Optimization :

- Design, optimize, and implement - scalable and secure- GCP solutions based on industry best practices.

- Collaborate with - internal teams and clients- to enhance cloud infrastructure, improve efficiency, and ensure high availability.

- Automate cloud infrastructure management using - Terraform, Google Cloud SDK, or scripting tools- .

Security & Compliance :

- Ensure - high security standards- and compliance with - industry regulations- for all GCP environments.

- Monitor security risks, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement - best-in-class security measures-

Mentorship & Continuous Improvement :

- Mentor - junior and mid-level engineers- , sharing knowledge, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

- Recommend and implement - tools, automation, and process improvements- to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency.

Documentation & Reporting :

Maintain - detailed documentation- of configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.

Provide periodic - reports on system health, performance metrics, and incident resolution- .

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education & Experience :

- Bachelor's degree- in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- 5 to 8 years of experience- in - cloud technologies, IT support, or technical support roles.

- Extensive hands-on experience with GCP services- such as - Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Spanner, and BigQuery- .

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise- in - cloud architecture, GCP best practices, and advanced troubleshooting- .

- Experience in - Infrastructure as Code (IaC)- using - Terraform, Google Cloud SDK, or automation tools- .

- Proficiency in - cloud security frameworks, networking configurations, and compliance standards- .

Communication & Leadership :

- Excellent - verbal and written communication skills- for collaborating with clients and internal teams.

- Strong leadership and mentoring skills- , with the ability to guide and train junior engineers.

- Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory)-
