Kubernetes Operator Developer - IT Automation (8-12 yrs)

We are looking for a talented and passionate Kubernetes Operator developer to join our team!

In this role, resources will play a key role in developing and maintaining Kubernetes Operators that extend the functionality of our platform and automate key tasks. The resource will collaborate closely with the DevOps and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of these Operators.

Key Skills :

- Kubernetes operator /Controller/contrail with Golang, they are not DevOps Engineers, they are Golang Kubernetes operator Developer, good to have from telecom domain.

Responsibilities :

1. Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes Operators for managing complex applications and infrastructure on our Kubernetes clusters.

2. Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand application requirements and translate them into robust and scalable Operator functionalities.

3. Utilize Go or another suitable language to develop Operators leveraging the Operator SDK or other frameworks.

4. Integrate Operators with existing DevOps workflows for deployment, testing, and monitoring.

5. Write unit and integration tests for Operators to ensure quality and reliability.

6. Contribute to the documentation and maintainability of Operator code.

7. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Kubernetes Operators, DevOps best practices, and cloud-native technologies.

Qualifications :

1. Proven experience in developing and deploying applications on Kubernetes.

2. Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services, etc.) and the Operator pattern.

3. Experience with Go language for backend development is a must.

4. Familiarity with Operator SDK or other frameworks for building Operators.

5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
