Problem Setter - Hackathons

As a Problem Setter for Hackathons at Codequotient, you will work closely with clients to understand their objectives and provide solutions for executing successful hackathons.

You will be responsible for creating technical problem statements, evaluating submissions, and advising clients on strategies and tools to make their hackathons impactful. This role combines technical understanding, problem-solving, and customer interaction to drive the success of hackathons.
In this role, you will:
- Understand client requirements and provide solution-based advice to ensure a successful hackathon.
- Analyze job descriptions and build relevant test formats for hackathon challenges.
- Develop hackathon themes and create technical problem statements based on client objectives.
- Research relevant technologies, APIs, SDKs, and tools required for the hackathon.
- Assess the ideas and prototypes submitted during hackathons, and create comprehensive reports with scores and feedback for the client.
- Advise clients on whether additional support materials like AMAs, webinars, and pre-recorded videos are necessary, and help define their content.
- Answer technical queries from participants during the hackathon and assist clients before/after the event.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Strong understanding of programming languages, especially Python and Data Science concepts
- Ability to research and evaluate relevant technologies, APIs, SDKs, and tools for hackathons
- Knowledge of hackathon execution processes and how to evaluate technical submissions
- Proficiency in building test formats based on technical job descriptions
- Good problem-solving and solutioning skills
- Familiarity with customer-facing roles and understanding client needs
