As a Ruby on Rails Developer at Codemancers, you will be responsible for designing,
coding, and maintaining web applications that deliver a seamless user experience. You
will work closely with our development team to create robust, scalable, and
high-performance web solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
- Design and maintain database schemas, ensuring data integrity.
- Optimize database queries and performance.
- Create RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications.
- Ensure API security and authentication.
- Write and execute unit tests and integration tests.
- Debug and resolve application issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and product
managers, to deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards.
- Document code and technical specifications.
Requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in web application development using Ruby on Rails.
- Proficiency in Ruby programming language and the Rails framework.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of database systems, particularly PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
