Summary

The Senior Manager/General Manager - Corporate Sales is responsible for leading and managing the corporate sales team, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets within the company. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance industry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients.


Reports to: Executive Vice President Corporate Sales 


Key Responsibilities

Sales Planning:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify business opportunities.
  • Set sales goals and objectives for the corporate sales team.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the corporate sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate sector.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales campaigns and promotional activities.

Qualifications

  • Graduation is MUST . A Masters degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate sales within the insurance industry/ preferably in a broking firm
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products and services.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

Stages of Interview 

  • Initial Screening by the HR department
  • Technical Video /F2F screening by the EVP
  • Any assignment given if need be
  • Final discussion with the Director
