Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

• Identify, engage, and develop relationships with plastic injection molders, OEMs, and contract manufacturers.
• Drive sales of Matix IIoT sensors for mold monitoring, targeting key decision-makers in production, maintenance, and operations.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase sensor integration and data analytics benefits.

2. Market Expansion & Strategy

• Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for India, including pricing, distribution, and competitive positioning.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, tooling suppliers, and automation integrators.
• Gather customer feedback and market trends to influence product improvements.

3. Technical & Customer Support

• Work closely with engineering and technical teams to understand customer needs and ensure proper sensor implementation.
• Assist clients in installing, configuring, and integrating Matix IIoT sensors into their existing molding operations.

4. Sales Reporting & KPI Management

• Maintain an active sales pipeline, manage CRM, and track lead conversion, sales targets, and revenue growth.
• Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and competitive analyses.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of sales experience in plastics manufacturing, industrial automation, or IIoT solutions.
• Strong background in injection molding, mold sensors, and process monitoring technologies.
• Familiarity with cycle counting, cycle time monitoring, OEE, and predictive maintenance solutions.
• Experience selling to OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and manufacturing plants.
• Strong technical acumen and ability to communicate IoT sensor benefits to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and close complex sales.
• Willingness to travel within India to meet clients and attend industry events.

• Experience working with IIoT-enabled mold sensors and manufacturing analytics.
• Understanding of injection molding machine connectivity, MES systems, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Prior experience working with global IIoT sensor brands or automation technology.
