The candidate will be a seasoned security professional with a berth and depth of related experience.

This is an opportunity to join an architecture practice and drive security for operational technologies, technologies that support plant operations, and manufacturing equipment that enable delivery of CNH vehicles, equipment, and products. We are building OT Security from the ground up.

CNH Industrial seeks an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Engineer. This role will be pivotal in elevating our cybersecurity strategy across our manufacturing plants in Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA), North America (NAFTA), Latin America (LATAM), and Asia Pacific (APAC). The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive cybersecurity measures for our OT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

•      Develop, implement, and maintain OT security policies and standards in alignment with NIST CSF, IEC 62443, and ISO 27001

• Track and manage vulnerabilities on OT systems, working closely with plants and the Cyber Defense team to mitigate vulnerabilities.

•      Conduct risk assessments for OT environments, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies.

•      Collaborate with plant-level teams to ensure security policies are enforced and aligned with operational requirements.

•      Implement and manage network segmentation to minimize attack surface and lateral movement risks in OT systems

•      Support the design, implementation, and deployment of secure architectures for legacy and modern OT systems

•      Partner with Cyber Defense teams to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents in OT environments

•      Lead efforts to create accurate inventory of OT assets and develop strategies for securing legacy systems

•      Evaluate and implement security tools and technologies tailored to OT environments, including endpoint protection, anomaly detection, and USB device control

•      Provide technical leadership for security initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational risk management strategies

•      Train and mentor plant-level and regional level teams on OT security best practices and incident response protocols

•      Stay updated on emerging OT security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, incorporating insights into strategic plans

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Masters degree is advantageous.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of direct experience in cybersecurity with a focus on Operational Technology
• Experience developing, communicating, and executing security policies, standards, and frameworks
• Proven track record of implementing security in manufacturing environments to include segmenting networks, implementing Identity and Access Management solutions, or managing Intrusion Detection Systems.
• Understanding of industrial control systems protocols (e.g., Modbus, SCADA, MQTT)
• Certifications: Preferably CISSP, GICSP, or equivalent OT-focused cybersecurity certifications.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English; multilingual capabilities in relevant regional languages are highly beneficial.
• Travel: Preparedness to travel internationally as needed to support global operations.
• Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to navigate and operate effectively in diverse cultural settings.Role & responsibilities
