Supply Chain Solution Architect.

The Supply Chain Solution Architect will be responsible for owning the technology roadmap for our business-critical supply chain solutions.

They will evaluate our business needs alongside our chosen implementation partners and identify how technology can deliver those needs through the design of solutions incorporating our strategic platforms and the integration of pre-existing applications..

The objective of the role is to ensure we identify, document, and deliver appropriate, innovative, and cost-effective solutions across the supply chain domain..

Role Purpose.

The candidate shall be able to demonstrate evidence of strong stakeholder management skills, be well versed and experienced in designing technology solutions for the supply chain domain, be able to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment, and be an effective communicator.

They will be the first point of contact and technical design lead for the supply chain domain, and they will define and own technology roadmaps within the client.

They will liaise with various departments, including Omnichannel, Commercial, Finance, IT, and Analytics.

The role includes working closely with BAs and engineering teams based in the UK and overseas..

Responsibilities.

Technical design leads for supply chain technology programs within the client.

Understand the business and IT requirements and write solution architecture documents that clearly articulate what needs to be done, both high-level and Low-Level Design, including integration contracts..

Ensure that all solution architectures or architectural increments are aligned to the target enterprise architecture, standards, and principles..

Assist, and where practical, own the design and documentation of all detailed designs for supply chain projects..

Gather and analyse data to support assessments and recommendations..

Collaborate with the Head of Solution Architecture and programs to assess the impact of changes to inflight projects..

Support the transition of new projects into the delivery teams and ongoing governance..

Provide input on the strategic direction of technology to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture..

Work with the external and internal engineering teams, business analysts, and project management to ensure the solution meets the vision..

Skill Required.

Expert knowledge of technology solutions for the supply chain.

Must have previously held the role of supply Supply solution architect within a large retail organization..

Extensive experience of designing technology solutions within large, complex organizations.

Must have previously held the role of a Solution Architect, preferably in a retail eCommerce environment..

Preferably experience with Salesforce products, specifically Commerce Cloud and Service Cloud.

Must have experience working in an API First space..

An understanding of Azure cloud hosting and technologies.

Exposure to MuleSoft or similar integration platforms as well as legacy integration methods.

Excellent communication skills.

Worked in a complex IT environment with fast-paced delivery.

Must be able to demonstrate ability to deal with uncertainty and deliver pragmatic solutions..

Full SDLC experience in both agile and waterfall environments (must have experience in agile methodology).

Certification.

Certification in Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Azure will be advantageous..
