Collection Cluster Head - Dvara E-Registry | Integrated Solutions for Agri Value Chain

Job Type: Full Time Onsite

Job Location: Madhya Pradesh Maharashtra Odisha

Reports to: Regional Head & Business Head

ABOUT ORGANISATION

Dvara E-Registry (DER) is an Agri-Tech from Hyderabad working towards building a digital platform that would enable all stakeholders in the agri-value chain, especially smallholder farmers, access to structured financial products and agricultural markets.

Our digital solutions are for helping the FPOs to connect the farmers and digitally provide its services. The technology and analytics will give precise data points to FPO on its farmers to take actions. These actions include linking input and our markets, providing advisory services and Lending Services.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES Collections Officer Duties:

Collect delinquent accounts through telephone calls and letters
Initiate legal proceedings when necessary
Work with loan managers, attorneys, and attorneys assistants to resolve accounts
Track and report on collection activity
Manage a customer list of outstanding accounts
Train new employees on collection policies and procedures

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Educational Qualifications:

Graduation
Post Grad/Management degree

Experience:

Manage accounts receivable functions, including account analysis, collections, and posting payments
Research accounts to find discrepancies and issues, and develop strategies for resolving billing discrepancies
Maintain up-to-date reports detailing customer payment status
Follow up on accounts, make phone calls, and send out letters or emails, as necessary, to collect delinquent accounts
Recommend collection actions or negotiate payment plans with customers whose accounts are in arrears
Maintain confidentiality of customer data

Competencies/Skills Required:

Willingness to work in a start-up environment.
Candidate with Sales (NBFC, Bank or MFI) background in BSFI / Education domain will be given preference.
Proven end to end sales skills prospecting, pipeline management, closing and negotiation.
Must be competent to learn and adapt to changing technical environment.
Proven ability to meet targets.
Detail and process oriented.
Self-starter and self-motivated
Excellent communication and relationship development skills.
Should open to frequent travel within the state.
Excellent in MS Office products especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task
