Job Description

We are seeking a Travel Sales Executive to join our team in the travel and tourism industry. In this role, you will be responsible for reaching out to potential customers, promoting travel packages, and assisting with inquiries related to tours and travel bookings. You will play a key role in driving customer engagement and providing high-quality service to enhance customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Customer Outreach: Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote tour packages, travel destinations, and services offered by the company.
  • Product Knowledge: Provide information about travel packages, destinations, special deals, and promotions to customers, ensuring they understand the services offered.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Identify potential leads, follow up on customer inquiries, and convert leads into bookings.
  • Customer Assistance: Address customer queries related to booking processes, travel packages, pricing, and availability. Assist in providing personalized travel recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Sales Support: Promote upselling and cross-selling of additional services such as travel insurance, airport transfers, guided tours, etc.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update customer information and records in the CRM system.
  • Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls with prospective customers and clients to close sales and ensure they are satisfied with services.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain good relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Report Generation: Track call metrics, sales, and customer interactions. Report to management on daily/weekly sales performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Experience: Freshers with no prior experience or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in telecalling or customer service (preferably in travel and tourism industry).
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with a pleasant phone manner and clear articulation.
  • Persuasion & Negotiation: Ability to effectively engage customers and close sales, with a positive and convincing approach.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Strong focus on customer satisfaction, with the ability to listen, understand, and address client needs.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and document customer information correctly.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with CRM software, email communication, and MS Office.

Desirable Attributes:


  • Knowledge of Travel Industry: Understanding of travel packages, booking processes, and popular travel destinations is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency: English
