Job Description
GCP Cloud Engineer
Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on the GCP platform, including infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and data processing.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Automate and streamline cloud operations using scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and Go.
- Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or other orchestration tools.
- Experience with GCP cloud native services: Bigdata, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Dataproc, Dataflow, and Functions.
- Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes on GCP.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Monitor, log, and alert on critical events to ensure the availability and stability of GCP services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Data Engineers, Data Scientists, DevOps Engineers) to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of professional experience in public cloud environments, with a strong preference for GCP.
- Strong experience with GCP core services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), and Kubernetes Engine.
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and Go.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or other orchestration tools.
- Experience with data processing and ETL pipelines on GCP.
- Good understanding of cloud security best practices and implementation.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions on GCP.
- GCP Certification is Mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
