Cloud Engineer L3

Technical Requirements:

• Good knowledge of networking components like Transit Gateway, VPC, Route Tables, and Subnets.
• Hands-on experience with EC2, RDS, ALB, S3, IAM, and CloudFormation.
• Proficient with Athena and CloudWatch logging.
• Good at network troubleshooting (request/response),access level issues of alb and servers.
• Aware of AWS organization, switch roles, and SCP policies.
• Cost Optimization: Should be aware of cost optimization tools and techniques.
• IAM: Role, Policy, Secret key, MFA, Groups, User.
• EC2: AMI, Snapshot, instance type, SSM agent, cloudwatch agent, security group, IAM role, ec2 best practices.
• RDS: Aware of all DB engines, Backup, logging, DB Instance type, rds best practices.
• S3: S3 policy, lifecycle rule, S3 lens, S3 batch operations, bucket settings.
• ALB: Internal ALB, Internet-facing ALB, NLB, port, path-based routing, host-based routing, SSL, target groups.
• CloudWatch Monitoring: Create alarms, create and monitor dashboards, and know how to check metrics.
• EKS, ECS: Should have basic knowledge of EKS and ECS.
• KMS: Customer-managed key, AWS-managed key, symmetric and asymmetric key.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
