Hiring For DBA Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for database monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, high-availability and database query development.

2. Create and manage multiple database including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Couchbase and MSSQL and any other NoSQL engines

3. Monitor, maintain database systems and troubleshoot problems that may arise.

4. Measure database performance and troubleshoot complex database issues, I/O bottlenecks, SQL Tuning.

5. Expertise with Couchbase is must and having experience with writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and complex development DBA queries

6. Responsible for managing Data guard, replica instance and ability to implement data guard in real sync for PostgreSQL, PG Bouncer and Couchbase clusters

7. Write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers and automate monitoring task and proficient with performance tunning activities

8. Responsible for RCA/Problem management and ensuring minimum repeat issues.

Preferred candidate profile

• Degree educated in Information Technology/ Computer Science (B.Tech/MCA)
• Should have relevant DB related certifications. AWS certified will be an advantage
• Should have around 4 to 6 years of DBA Experience with at least 3 years in Oracle database (ver.12C onwards), PostgreSQL, Couchbase and MySQL
• Should have knowledge of PL/SQL package, procedure, functions, shell and scripts writing.
• Solid experience in Systems Administration, Database automation, SQL writing and performance tuning
• Experienced in installing, configuring and upgrading databases and clusters environment
• Good knowledge in DB replication, AWS hosted DB administration
• Experience with Data Conversion & Partitioning Strategies on various databases (Oracle, MSSQL, NoSQL, Open Source DBs)
• Experience with OLTP, data warehousing and operational data stores and concepts
