The Ecommerce Executive is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's ecommerce platforms, driving online sales, and enhancing the overall customer experience
They will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute ecommerce strategies, manage product listings, monitor performance metrics, and implement promotional campaigns
The Ecommerce Executive plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and maximizing the online presence of the organization
Key Responsibilities:Manage and optimize the organization's ecommerce platforms, including website(s), mobile app(s), and other online sales channels
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute ecommerce strategies aligned with business objectives
Ensure accurate and up-to-date product listings, including product descriptions, pricing, images, and inventory availability
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, and sales, and take appropriate actions to optimize performance
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and industry best practices
Plan and implement promotional campaigns, including discounts, offers, and cross-selling opportunities, to drive online sales
Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer service, to ensure a seamless online customer experience
Collaborate with web developers and designers to enhance website functionality, user experience, and mobile responsiveness
Utilize analytics tools and data to generate insights and make data-driven recommendations for improving ecommerce performance
Stay updated with ecommerce industry trends, emerging technologies, and platforms to leverage new opportunities and advancements
Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
X years of experience in ecommerce roles, preferably in managing ecommerce platforms and driving online sales
Strong understanding of ecommerce principles, platforms, and best practices
Experience with ecommerce platforms (eg, Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and content management systems (CMS)
Proficiency in website analytics tools (eg, Google Analytics) and data-driven decision-making
Knowledge of digital marketing channels and tactics, including SEO, SEM, and email marketing
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with web development languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving ecommerce landscape
