SAP FICO Consultant - S/4 HANA Module (8-12 yrs)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Finance Consultant with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations. The candidate must possess strong technical knowledge in SAP Financials and Controlling (FICO) modules, exceptional problem-solving skills, and excellent business acumen. The role requires a professional who can effectively communicate with business stakeholders, manage customer success, and work collaboratively in diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities :

1. SAP FICO Implementation :

- Lead and execute SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and migration projects, ensuring alignment with customer business strategies.

- Configure Universal Journal, New GL Accounting, and Document Splitting to meet IFRS and organizational requirements.

- Design SAP organization structures (Enterprise Structure, Profit Center/Cost Center structure, Chart of Accounts).

2. Expertise in Financial Modules :

- Accounts Receivable (AR) : Integration with revenue recognition processes.

- Accounts Payable (AP) : Vendor payments, Automatic Payment Program (APP), EDI-IDOC processing.

- Asset Accounting, Budgeting, and Revenue Accounting.

- Bank Reconciliation : Configure APP, MT940, and Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) integration.

3. Cross-Module Integration :

- Collaborate with MM, SD, and PS teams for seamless integration with SAP FICO.

4. Controlling Module Knowledge :

- Proficiency in Cost Center (CC), Profit Center (PC), and Product Costing.

- Expertise in assessments, allocations, and settlements within Controlling.

- Hands-on experience in COPA (Profitability Analysis).

5. Period Closing & Reporting :

- Manage and execute period/year-end closing activities.

- Prepare key deliverables such as Blueprints, Business Process Master Lists (BPML), GAP Analysis, Functional Specifications, and Cutover Plans.

6. Testing & Documentation :

- Create Unit, Integration, and UAT test plans and cases.

- Ensure the delivery of high-quality documentation per pre-defined templates.

- SAP S/4HANA FICO, New GL, IFRS, APP Configurations, MT940, EDI-IDOC, and BRS Integration.

Functional :

- Financial process automation, cross-module integration, and project deliverable preparation.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration.

Other :

- Open to learning cross-functional modules such as BPC, REFX, FM, and BCM.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's Degree : B.Com, BBA, BCS, or allied fields.

- Postgraduate Degree (Preferred) : MBA, M.Com, MCA, CA, ICWA.

- Domain Experience : 2-5 years in Finance/Accounting.
