Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive to join our Mutual Fund Operations team. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of mutual fund transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and operational efficiency. The candidate must have successfully cleared the NISM-Series-X-A: Investment Adviser (Level 1) and NISM-Series-X-B: Investment Adviser (Level 2) certifications.
- Transaction Processing:
- Handle end-to-end processing of mutual fund transactions including purchase, redemption, switches, and systematic investment plans (SIPs).
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of all mutual fund-related activities.
- Reconciliation and Reporting:
- Perform daily reconciliation of mutual fund holdings, NAVs, and transaction records with fund houses and custodians.
- Prepare and maintain detailed MIS and regulatory reports.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and compliance requirements in all operational activities.
- Verify and maintain accurate client documentation as per KYC/AML norms.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Coordinate with fund houses, RTA (Registrar & Transfer Agents), brokers, and clients for transaction and query resolution.
- Assist the sales and advisory teams in resolving operational issues.
- System and Process Management:
- Operate and manage transaction systems efficiently to ensure process integrity.
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to enhancing operational efficiency.
- Audit and Risk Management:
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and operational data.
- Ensure risk controls are implemented and adhered to within the operations function.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Certifications: Must have cleared:
- NISM-Series-X-A: Investment Adviser (Level 1)
- NISM-Series-X-B: Investment Adviser (Level 2)
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other reporting tools.
- Familiarity with mutual fund transaction platforms and software (e.g., MF Utility, NSE MFSS).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
