Vendor Management / Procurement

• Preparing purchase order after negotiations, releasing monthly delivery schedules & liaising with concerned vendors & transportation authorities for further proceedings.
• Meeting customer orders by implementing and monitoring effective procurement schedules along with finalizing the specifications of the materials and establishing the quality & quantity limits for effective inventory control.

Warehouse Management/ Inventory Management

• Monitoring and ensuring the quality storage of raw material within the warehouse as per the company guidelines and a process to continuously improving inventory turns.
• Managing the Cycle Counting Program& ensuring the 'Inventory Accuracy' above the defined levels.
• Monitoring real time transactions and implementing 5 S in all warehouse functions.
• Regularizing material receipts and ensuring the fluidity of stocks from stores to assembly line.
• Conducting error free audits check & revamping the procedures as when required to ensure trouble free warehouse operations.
• Organising stocks holding analysis like ABC & Ageing Analysis with respect to inventory turns.
• Resolving any issues / crisis ensuring smooth functioning of warehouse operations.
• Meeting cost effective inventory control of raw materials by doing proper material planning & budgeting.
• Handling various activities like receipts, storage, stock verification, inventory control & dispatches, order processing and collection.
• Maintaining stock of material without any variance by conducting stock verification and documentation.

Logistics

• Handling logistics operations to provide timely delivery of consignments involving liaising with regulatory authorities, transport companies and other external agencies.
• Monitoring and analysing the loss in transit and undertaking measures to control the same.
• Taking adequate measures to monitoring, analysing the performance of transporters pertaining to cost, quality and delivery norms.
• Overseeing the logistic functions and negotiating with transporters for cost effective transport solutions.
• Finalizing Contracts with clients & developing plans
