Java Technical Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers to ensure the successful delivery of software products.
• Architect, design, and develop scalable, high-quality, and high-performance Java applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and quality assurance teams to define product roadmaps and features.
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance through code reviews and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve software development processes.
• Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for efficient product delivery.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Java development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with front-end technologies like Angular, React, or Vue.js is a plus.
• Proficiency in databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic product environment.
