Senior Lead Software Engineer-Java

We are looking for a Senior Lead Software Engineer to join our Technology team at Clarivate. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Clarivate Trademark product.

Our developers have a great skill set in Java development, SpringBoot applications and we would love to speak with you if you have necessary skills in development.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, or related degree or at least 5 years of equivalent relevant experience

• Atleast 5 years of experience developing web-based applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate and related technologies.

• Atleast 5 years of experience developing, releasing, and maintaining web services using Java or other Object-Oriented programming languages

• Good understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.

• Strong technical background and in-depth experience with server-side frameworks, event driven architecture, system integration patterns.

• Experience with relational databases and database design

• Extensive experience working with Version Control Systems like GIT, SVN, etc

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Previous experience with MongoDB and OracleDB

• Previous experience working under Linux

What will you be doing in this role?

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and deployment.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.

• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests that are part of an automated Continuous Integration pipeline.

• Work closely with other teams (e.g., QA, Product) to release high-quality software.

• Participate in group improvement activities and initiatives to improve process and product quality in pursuit of excellence.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development, testing, and production.

• Stay up to date with new technologies and trends in software development.

About the Team

The Content team is geographically spread out. We have developers in Macedonia, Serbia and India. We re working closely together with internal stakeholders in Antwerp as well as other teams with members located in Antwerp, Eastern Europe, US and India

Hours of Work

This is a permanent position with Clarivate.9 hours per day including lunch break. We have hybrid work model, flexible and employee friendly work environment.
