Project Engineer - Defense/Nuclear/Aerospace Projects

Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join a very well-known and established organization. The role involves managing high-technology projects in the Defense, Nuclear, and Aerospace sectors. Candidates with a background in heavy engineering and a proven track record in machinery and equipment project management are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, procurement, quality).
• Act as the point of contact for stakeholders such as DRDO, ISRO, BARC, NPCIL, DMDE, and ensure timely communication on project progress.
• Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with Defense/Aerospace industry standards.
• Manage vendor coordination and supplier relationships for sourcing materials and components.
• Maintain organized project documentation and prepare regular progress reports for management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: 3-5 years in managing projects in heavy engineering or Defense/Aerospace/Nuclear sectors.
• Strong understanding of machinery manufacturing processes, design, development, and testing.
• Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Primavera, or SAP.
• Certifications in PMP/PRINCE2 (preferred).

Key Requirements:

• Prior experience in handling high-tech machinery projects for Defense/Nuclear/Aerospace sectors.
• Expertise in quality control, compliance, and risk management.
