1 Civil and Structural Draftsman Job

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed structural drawings including general arrangement, reinforcement

detailing, and steel fabrication drawings.

• Prepare formwork and reinforcement drawings for concrete structures including

foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and retaining walls.

• Create steel detailing for platforms, pipe racks, sheds, and industrial structures,

including connection detailing.

• Interpret architectural and inter-discipline service layouts to produce Civil structural

drawings

• Collaborate with other disciplines within the company and clients for approval of

drawings.

• Coordinate with structural engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project

requirements.

• Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and bar bending schedules.

• Work on projects using Indian, American, and European codes and standards (BIS,

AISC, BS, etc.).

• Ensure compliance with CAD standards and quality control procedures.

• Assist in design modifications and revisions as per engineering feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI or Diploma

• 2 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Civil Structural drafting is must

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) is mandatory

• Experience in RCC and steel structural detailing of industrial buildings / structures

• Knowledge of fabrication drawings and bar bending schedules is an advantage

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without compromising quality

• Strong communication skills and team collaboration ability

• Experience in preparing drawings as per SI and Imperial units

Preferred Experience:

• Structural design & detailing experience of both RCC and/or Steel structures in Plant

or Infrastructure or Energy or Oil & Gas (onshore) projects

• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Tekla, Revit, or SP3D is a plus
