Role & responsibilities

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Executive to manage and grow sales within an assigned territory for our coated and laminated textiles products. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the coated and laminated textiles industry. This role is critical in driving business growth, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed regional revenue goals.
  • • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
  • • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
  • 2. Customer Relationship Management:
  • • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
  • • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and negotiations.
  • • Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • 3. Product Promotion and Knowledge:
  • • Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of coated and laminated textile products to prospective clients.
  • • Stay updated on product specifications, technical details, and applications to effectively address customer needs.
  • • Collaborate with the product development team to understand and communicate new product offerings.
  • 4. Sales Administration and Reporting:
  • • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities.
  • • Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to management.
  • • Monitor and ensure timely payment collection from clients.
  • 5. Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the companys products and brand.


Preferred candidate profile


Qualifications:

  • • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
  • • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in coated and laminated textiles or a similar industry.
  • • Strong knowledge of textiles, coatings, and laminations, including their applications across industries.
  • • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • • Ability to travel extensively within the region.
  • • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Key Competencies:
  • • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer demands.
  • • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • • Experience selling to industries such as luggage, umbrella , rainwear , automotive, garment, safe wear or outdoor products
  • • Technical knowledge of coated and laminated textile production processes.
  • Location: [ New Delhi / Mumbai / Kolkata / Bengaluru ]
  • Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager/Director of Sales
