About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master / Project Manager with a strong background in project governance, process compliance, and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a PMO, managing audits, and ensuring adherence to project management frameworks, including SDLC processes, while delivering in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can balance the flexibility of Agile with the rigor of compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Scrum Master Duties:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) for one or more Agile teams.
• Coach teams on Agile principles while balancing adherence to governance, risk, and control standards.
• Identify and resolve impediments to maintain team productivity and focus.

Project Management:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and project milestones, escalating issues as necessary.

PMO and Compliance:

• Ensure all projects adhere to PMO guidelines, organizational policies, and SDLC processes.
• Lead efforts to meet audit requirements, including documentation, reporting, and traceability.
• Support governance activities by maintaining clear project records and ensuring compliance with Agile delivery frameworks.
• Collaborate with the PMO to improve project delivery standards and processes.

Governance, Risk, and Control (GRC):

• Manage GRC-related projects and support the integration of compliance requirements into Agile workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders to align on risk management strategies and project controls.
• Oversee the implementation of GRC solutions, ensuring user adoption and operational effectiveness.

Reporting & Analytics:

• Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, team performance, and audit readiness.
• Use metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous delivery efficiency.

Team Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work closely with internal and external teams to align project goals and execution plans.
• Act as a central point of communication for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment while upholding governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager, with exposure to PMO functions and audits.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and compliance requirements in Agile environments.
• Proficient in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and project management software (e.g., MS Project).
• Experience managing projects that require adherence to regulatory or audit standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with GRC platforms or tools (e.g., RSA Archer, ServiceNow GRC).
• Experience working within a PMO to define and enhance project management standards.
• Knowledge of audit practices and risk management methodologies.
• Certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP, or equivalent.
