Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend systems, including adding new features to existing platforms.
- Design, implement, and manage RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
- Create and maintain AWS Lambda functions to support serverless architectures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for cloud resource management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend logic with front-end components.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve system efficiency.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development and cloud engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and related frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django).
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch) and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Expertise in API documentation tools (Swagger, Postman).
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
