Python AWS Developer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Python AWS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in backend development and cloud engineering, focusing on implementing new features, managing serverless architectures, and maintaining infrastructure as code. Your role will involve building and monitoring scalable APIs, creating Lambda functions, and leveraging tools like Terraform for seamless deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend systems, including adding new features to existing platforms.

Design, implement, and manage RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.

Create and maintain AWS Lambda functions to support serverless architectures.

Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for cloud resource management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend logic with front-end components.

Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve system efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of professional experience in backend development and cloud engineering.

Proficiency in Python and related frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django).

Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB.

Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.

Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch) and performance optimization.

Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

Expertise in API documentation tools (Swagger, Postman).
