Qualification:

Mandatory: Sciences graduate

Desirable: MBA, MBBS looking for commercial opportunities.

Experience : 1 - 7 years

Required / Preferred skills :

• Customer facing
• Experience with specialty portfolio or with innovative products
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent scientific temperament and understanding
• Prior experience of engaging with specialists will be preferred

Job Role Purpose :

The role envisages to lead our scientific discussions and field connect with top External Experts, Key Opinion Leaders and Therapy Area Experts of the country in order to further our agenda around AMR initiatives through regular and consistent connects, organization of scientific events and data and evidence generation activities. The role would also contribute towards knowledge and skill enhancement efforts for the field teams.

Major Activities / Tasks

I. Develop a zonal list of Key External Experts and Key Opinion Leaders and formulate a plan to engage them at pre-decided periodicity.

• In collaboration with the zonal heads, marketing teams and the medical teams to create and regularly update the list of Key External Experts in the therapy area of anti-infectives. Key specialties to include but not limited to Infectious Diseases Expert, Intensivists, Urologists, Haematologists and Microbiologists.
• Create a visit plan for the decided HCP list.

II. Create and maintain long term relationship with the selected key external experts

• Establish productive, professional relationships with key experts in identified geography to build sustainable relationships in the identified Therapy Areas
• Record the regular interactions as observations to be utilized for Insight mining.

III. Create, drive and sustain scientific engagement activities in the zone.

• Identify major national and regional scientific events to be conducted in the zone.
• Engage with the organizers to optimize our participation. Attempt to procure scientific discussion activities. Work together with the experts to co-create relevant scientific agenda in the therapy areas of interest
• Envisage and lead Advisory boards and Expert Panels in the zone. Record and utilise the outcomes for medico-marketing efforts.
• Work closely with the Medico-Marketing teams to envisage and drive data generation activities.
• Work closely with the Medico-Marketing teams to enable data dissemination activities

IV. Collaborating with the Medico-Marketing teams to create inputs for the Brand Plans

• Collaborate with the Medico-Marketing teams to generate meaningful Insights derived from the observations collated during engagements with the Therapy Area Experts.
• Contribute towards the co-creation of the brand plan by the Medico-Marketing teams

V. Lead scientific competency development efforts in the zone

• Collaborate with the L&OD team to drive scientific competency development for the field force in the zone
• Create and lead regular and consistent scientific training programs in the zone.
