Off Role - Buyer I Cipla Ltd.: Mumbai

Role & responsibilities

• Negotiate deals in Engineering, Quality and other Indirect categories.
• Execution of rate contracts with guidance and in consultation with Category Lead and Head wherever required.
• Process Purchase orders in Ariba / SAP.
• Identify repeat purchase items and enter into rate contract for better deals for Cipla.
• Follow up for deliveries.
• Coordinate with finance to resolve payment issues.
• Anticipate cost escalations and materials / service unavailability and implement the required strategy to ensure least business risk.
• Continuous Engagement with CFT team for timely execution of alternate vendor development .

Educational qualifications:

Preferable Engineering / Science Graduate from reputable institution.

Relevant experience:

Preferable 2 years of experience in procurement Knowledge in SAP would be an added advantage.
