Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including voucher entry, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
• Ensure accurate GST filing (GSTR-1), ITR filing (ITR-1), TDS returns (TDS return) submission on time.
• Maintain accurate records of vendor payments, creditor balances, and perform regular reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports using advanced Excel skills.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-5 years of experience in accountancy or related field with a degree in B.Com or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP software; knowledge of advanced Excel formulas is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), Goods & Services Tax (GST), Income-tax Returns (ITR), Value Added Tax (VAT).
• Excellent analytical skills for identifying errors in financial data and implementing corrective actions.
