SDET II - Java & Selenium

Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled SDET II with 4 to 6 years of overall experience in automation testing, specializing in Java + Selenium and API Testing. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience working with Java and Selenium for UI automation, and 2+ years of experience with RestAssured, REST APIs, and API Testing.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Java and Selenium.
Create and maintain automation frameworks from scratch.
Conduct API testing using RestAssured and REST APIs to ensure proper functionality, performance, and reliability.
Develop and maintain test cases for both UI and API testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, etc.) to ensure high-quality test coverage.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Work closely with the development team to provide feedback and ensure product quality.
Integrate test cases and frameworks with CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment and continuous testing.
Debug test failures, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed bug reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4 to 6 years of experience in software testing with strong automation skills.
3+ years of experience in Java + Selenium for automation testing.
2+ years of hands-on experience with RestAssured, REST APIs, and API Testing.
Strong understanding of the SDLC, STLC, and agile development methodologies.
Proficiency in creating automation frameworks from scratch.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins for test automation integration.
Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
Exposure to cloud environments and working with distributed systems.
Familiarity with API security testing and Postman for manual API testing.
