Job Description
- Verify the employee s reimbursement claims in the Zoho Expense.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees for finance-related queries and provide timely support.
- Ensure accuracy and timely processing of reimbursement claims, vendor, consultant, and other party invoices, ensuring they are correctly accounted for in relevant applications.
- Maintain payroll information.
- Collect, assimilate data and coordinate with the third-party consultant to ensure timely payments of all relevant taxes.
- Assist in the tracking of payments to external service providers/vendors.
- Prepare detailed and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports that offer insights into the organization s financial performance, enabling strategic planning.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, offering financial insights and data to support planning and resource allocation.
- Ensure all expenses are within the assigned project budget.
- Ensure account receivables and payables activities are performed accurately and timely.
- Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues.
- Monitor and track all bank deposits and payments, ensuring transparency and consistency in financial transactions.
- Collaborate with the finance team during financial audits, ensuring compliance and providing necessary documentation and support.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to provide financial information for grant proposals, donor reports and fundraising campaigns.
- Manage donor accounts, track donations, and ensure proper documentation and acknowledgement of contributions.
- Any additional responsibilities set by the CEO Finance team.
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience in the Finance arena is preferred.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Fluency in reading, writing and speaking Hindi, Telugu and English.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations including PF, TDS, and PT.
- Strong knowledge of NGO compliances, FCRA, and best practices is mandatory.
- Proficiency in financial management software and spreadsheets (Tally, Zoho Books).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide insights.
- Strong organisational skills and time management skills.
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential information.
