Direct Tax Structuring

Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant
Bachelor s degree from any recognized university.
Experience:
4 to 7 years and above of experience in Big 4 firm or large conglomerates - with experience in core M&A Tax.
Deep knowledge of structuring, corporate tax laws, including domestic and international.
Technical understanding of FEMA and other regulatory provisions like SEBI, Corporate laws, Stock Exchange regulations etc.
Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex tax laws in a business setting.
Strong technical writing and tax research skills

Review for acquisitions, dispositions and corporate restructurings, including due diligence, negotiation, structuring and post-close integration.
Advising, coordinating and problem-solving across a multi-functional M&A team, including corporate development, regulatory issues, legal, HR, accounting, finance and business teams to achieve complex project goals.
Researching and documenting domestic and international tax issues, including coordination with external advisors and lawyers including support financial modeling and presentations of tax impacts of transactional planning.
Providing technical advice related to transactions to other members of the tax department.
