Education Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Certification Required

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3-6 years of experience in protection engineering within the renewable energy sector
• Proven track record of successful project delivery and commissioning

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing protection schemes for renewable energy projects
• Performing relay setting calculations and coordination studies
• Conducting protection system testing and troubleshooting
• Collaborating with the engineering team to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements
• Participating in the commissioning and testing of protection systems
• Providing technical support during project execution and operation
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of protection engineering processes
