The Turnaround Planning Lead provides leadership to supervises a team of Turnaround (TAR) and Routine Maintenance Planners at the Chevron ENGINE Center.

The Turnaround Planning Leads team of Planners develops detailed job plans and accurate resource estimates for these plans.
The team provides input into Turnaround budgets and utilizes industry norms to drive continuous improvement in planning tools and performance.
The Turnaround Planning Lead will coordinate with various turnaround core teams across the Chevron Refineries and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) facilities..
Key Responsibilities.
Lead the planning team to develop fully integrated job estimates and work plans for multiple concurrent facility turnarounds across several operating areas.
Ensure team and individual deliverables are understood, performance expectations are clear, and progress is measured and reported.
Support and mentor the team in planning and estimating turnaround scope in accordance with standards developed by Chevron experts for Turnaround Planning.
Lead the procurement / maintenance order processing and tracking of long lead material.
Ensure plans are detailed in appropriate scheduling tools (Primavera).
Maintain Chevron Turnaround planning and communication tools (Salesforce), stewards turnaround milestones, and ensures team members are effectively communicating with their respective turnaround core teams.
Ensure team members actively support all appropriate phases of the Chevron turnaround process to meet deliverable and milestone dates, prepare and support Turnaround Peer Reviews and deliver on turnaround execution.
Coordinate with operating facilities and contractors as necessary to ensure turnaround schedule alignment, analyze schedule data, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Develop leadership and team management skills through direct supervision and coaching.
Supports the recruitment, development and succession planning of the Turnaround organization.
Bring knowledge of industry standards and best practices for Turnaround planning and execution and will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the refineries and LNG facilities.
Required Qualification.
Bachelors degree in civil/electrical/mechanical engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from a deemed/recognized (AICTE) university.
Demonstrated ability to lead planning teams supporting complex process facilities or operating assets in Maintenance turnaround events.
Maintenance, Reliability or Turnaround leadership experience.
Knowledge of scheduling tools (Primavera) and planning tools (salesforce).
