Job brief

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software developer to make intuitive high-level decisions for software modules.

1.1 Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other functions such as Operations, Testing and Product management in translating Product Requirements to functional modules
• Take a hands-on approach in mentoring/coaching junior team members in translating designs to product code / debugging
• Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product
• Develop high-level design specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
• Monitor code quality and take corrective measures where required
• Successfully communicate all concepts and guidelines to junior team members
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
• Ensure the software module meets all requirements of quality, security, maintainability, extensibility etc.

1.2 Skills Areas

• Proven experience as a hands-on java developer
• Experience in software development and coding in java/j2ee technologies
• Experience in RESTful Web Services development and Angular
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in Spring family of frameworks
• Knowledge on software and application design and architecture will be an added advantage
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles
• A technical mindset with great attention to detail
• Good communication and presentation abilities
• Additional areas
• Exposure to DevSecOps principles; hands-on experience will be an added advantage
• Exposure to a cloud-setup AWS preferable

1.3 Experience

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience of 5+ years. Possession of a professional degree / post-graduation is desirable. Certifications in the respective technology areas will be an added advantage.
