Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and strategic Copywriter with a strong passion for crafting ideas from visual media and shoots. The ideal candidate will be adept at conceptualizing and executing ideas for social media, campaigns, and other digital platforms, leveraging available media assets or collaborating with the team to produce fresh content. While the primary focus will be on generating campaign concepts and social media ideas, the role will also involve limited writing for emailers and website content.

This role requires someone with an advertising background who thrives in a collaborative environment and can seamlessly bring ideas to life through words.

Role & responsibilities

• Creative Ideation & Campaign Development:
• Generate unique and engaging ideas from existing media, shoots, or newly produced content for campaigns and social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the team to conceptualize innovative campaigns that align with brand strategy and objectives.
• Content Creation:
• Create compelling and brand-specific copy for social media, emailers, and limited website content.
• Develop scripts for promotional videos, ads, or digital campaigns as needed.
• Collaboration & Presentation:
• Work closely with Brand Managers, Designers, and Strategists to develop cohesive and visually supported ideas.
• Present creative concepts effectively and confidently to internal teams or stakeholders.
• Digital Media Expertise:
• Stay updated on the latest digital and social media trends, especially in the OTC and healthcare space, and incorporate these insights into creative outputs.
• Understand the balance between textual and visual storytelling to ensure seamless integration.
• Brand Voice & Adaptability:
• Adapt writing style and tone to suit various brands and target audiences across the OTC industry.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven 2 - 6 years in an advertising agency or a similar environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing copy for diverse audiences, brands, and industries.
• Conceptual Thinking: Ability to develop innovative ideas and translate them into impactful campaigns.
• Presentation Skills: Strong ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to teams or clients.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring that copy aligns seamlessly with visual designs.
• Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to write professionally in a variety of tones and styles tailored to specific brands and audiences.
• Time Management: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
