Cognos Developer - Dashboard Design (8-12 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Cognos Report Studio, Workspace, and Dashboard.

- Create and manage data models in Framework Manager.

- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Optimize report performance by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.

- Ensure data accuracy and consistency by validating data sources and report outputs.

- Provide training and support to end-users on Cognos tools and best practices.

- Work with the data warehouse team to ensure seamless integration of data sources.

- Stay updated with the latest Cognos features and enhancements, and recommend improvements to existing reports and dashboards.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field years of experience in Cognos development (specify years as needed).

- Proficiency in IBM Cognos Analytics (including Report Studio, Framework Manager, and Dashboard).

- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.

- Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
